While I’m getting a couple projects photographed, I wanted to share a before & after that I did at our old house a few years ago. I love how this bathroom turned out!
Here’s the “before” with the original green tiles on the walls paired with a BROWN tub and a silly 1980’s sink & cabinet. The floor tile was not original, but the super-cool build in medicine cabinet was.
And here’s the after! I ended up replacing the mirror to extend it all the way to the ceiling, a new light (although I kept & moved the original one to the other bathroom), new window shades, a faux finish on the walls not typical of mid-century modern, but that brought a lot of warmth to the modern re-do. I designed the cabinet and had it built be a carpenter. I purchased simple white tile in interesting sizes and paired it with a gorgeous modernistic glass tile. The granite counter was a remnant, something that had broken in half when being installed in a much larger space. Nothing like recycling! The cabinet behind the door was original so we painted it to bring it back to life.
This is one of my favorite before & afters!

Wow! That’s a beautiful makeover. Good lightings can do so much and white tiles are way better. Your bathroom looks chic and modern now. Congratulations and thanks for sharing this inspiration.
